Ryan Hagan is an indie U.S. recording artist and songwriter. He embarked on his solo Pop career in 2018 with the debut single “Come to You,” spotlighting his sultry vocals and an upbeat mix.
His newest single, “Jimmy Fallon,” dropped Fri., Sept. 6 and exceeded 200K streams on Spotify in the first three weeks.
When asked about the inspiration for “Jimmy Fallon,” Ryan said, “Jimmy Fallon’s name has become synonymous with success, with his rise to stardom on SNL and, most currently, The Tonight Show. Much like an ode to the iconic late night TV host, I drop Jimmy’s name in the catchy chorus as a creative play to describe the possibilities of how my hesitant lover and I could ‘run this show’ together.
“Jimmy and I have very similar backgrounds, actually. And because of that, I’ve always identified with his journey. From our shared family roots in NY, to Christian upbringing and schooling – and now both of us have given up the traditional American 8-to-5 in exchange for the dream of success in entertainment. And don’t let Jimmy fool you: he is one musically talented dude!”
Ryan got his start singing in churches from a young age and is a self-taught pianist. Growing up, he enjoyed success as a nationally-acclaimed athlete, and after a career-ending injury, began focusing on writing his own music.
